Avoid My Mistakes...please!

First things first. You need to know where you want to go before starting your development journey. What sort of person do you want to become? Hopefully, your first response to this question is a "happy one". I really want you to avoid the mistake I made. What was this? Well, it was choosing a pay check over happiness. Like many people out there, I didn't choose to do something that made me happy. I didn't have a plan and this meant I sort of fell into a career, got fed up, moved on to another job, got fed up again and repeat. This meant I spent a long time floating along in a direction that was inevitably going to leave my unfulfilled (though it took my a while to realise this).
